We are registered under trust and society in Gujarat. I want to understand whether our Governing board meeting be held in hybrid mode or not ? but if yes, than what documentation is needed to consider online presence of members.
The GJ Public Trust Act 2011 including MH Public Trust Act 1950 to which the GJ act has its origin does not purohit virtual meetings nor does it say that all meetings have to be in physical mode only. Holding meetings in hybrid mode should be contained in your society rules and regulations including laying down procedures for such meetings. More particularly, the meeting proceedings should be recorded, a roll call maybe done by each member with video on and the minutes should be approved on mail etc.
