A potential donor shown interest to donate, they are NRI and have NRO account, they have PAN as well, can we recieve the donation, what all documents we should keep, we don’t have FCRA
Donation from NRI is not FC funds and therefore not within the scope of FCRA. Please get his PAN for filing Form 10BD-Statement of Donation since you have 80G approval, please receive funds in your present domestic/local bank account. Nothing more is required.
Remember NRI is an Indian and not a foreign source.
