Does the maternity benefit act apply to my NGO? We have only 15 people working and 6 are women. Is the threshold for applicability based on all employees or just women employees?
Hello! the maternity benefit act would apply to any legal entity with 10 or more employees. If your organisation has 15 employees, you would need to comply with providing leave, maternity benefit and child care as per the Act and Rules.
