Our organisation, a Section 8 company started in 2018 recently changed its name and got the approval for the change from the relevant authorities. When we weant to incorporate this change in the NGO Darpan portal, although there are povisions for changing address, email ID, telephone number for inclusion of FCRA number, there is no provision available in the portal for effecting name change. What should we do now? To which mail ID we should communicate this issue?
Thanks for your query. If your PAN has changed with name change, you will have to obtain fresh registration and UIN. If your PAN is same due to name change, then after Darpan login, select change request in update profile tab, select NPO details in section type, Edit in operation type, in Request Type, scroll down and select NPO Name/PAN date and finally provide reason for change and upload the change in name from ROC, new PAN.
