Regarding receiving of Contributions and Membership fees from Members in cash

Sir,
My query is how much amount of Contributions can be received/ accept by Society in a day via cash.
Similarly, how much amount of Membership fees can be received/ accept by Society in a day via cash.
Sir, please clarify

Section 269ST states that cash receipt cannot exceed Rs. 2 lakhs from a person per day. Mode of payment and not Purpose is of consequence. Penalty is 100%.
